NewWave project aims at wood-based materials to replace steel and concrete as structural components, modified/engineered wood to replace tropical hardwood or chemically treated wood for outdoor use, and Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) and plywood for interior usage.

In NewWave, TCF will produce the raw materials (Lignin, Sugars and Bio-oil) for the four manufacturing lines developed by the project. The feedstock for the TCF plan will be biomass residues, organic waste and end-of-life products.
